I started the j3 mp mod on Linux CachyOS via Proton. after some seconds a error message appears.
Error‘ Newer Windows Version needed ‘


would be great if the jc3mp mod would work better with linux

    Interesting, I am running CachyOS on my machine and it works fine. Can you try double check which proton version is being used in steam for JC3MP?

      i was using the default one. its proton experimental i guess

      Problem solved – I reinstalled the JC3MP mod, and now everything works fine. Verifying the files wasn't enough.
